President - Brent Johnson

Brent started in construction at the age of 10 when he helped his brother Ben and his father Ken build their family a new home in which his parents still live. He continued to work in construction off and on for the next 16 years while graduating from High School, serving a mission and attending Utah State University where he graduated with a Masters of Accountancy degree. Before helping found B&B Builders in 1993 he helped with the electrical wiring of several homes, install forced air and Hydronic heating systems, installed overhead garage doors, worked for a plumber for several summers plumbing new homes and installing sprinkler systems as well as working on a framing crew. The knowledge that he learned while working for each of these trades has helped him understand the entire building process and has helped B&B Builders become one of the area’s top General Contractors.

Ben and Brent founded B&B Builders in 1993, with the idea that clients should be offered the highest levels of Quality and Service. This idea has now become a way of doing business for B&B and has brought much success to the company. He attended Utah State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Ben began developing his construction know how and design ability at a very early age working with his dad, and over the years has been involved with the design and building of many homes that have received numerous awards for their exceptional design and quality. Currently, Ben is involved early on with all design build projects and also acts as a project manager.

Project Supervisor -Ryan Johnson

Ryan has been a resident of Southeast Idaho all of his life. He is a project supervisor for B&B Builders, overseeing projects from start to finish. He has a diverse background in construction, having worked for different companies, and has brought his knowledge and great love for all aspects of building with him. Ryan has been with B&B Builders since the fall of 1997. Ryan has the ability to work closely with the owners of a project, paying special attention to every detail, demanding the highest quality of workmanship, ensuring that all involved are completely satisfied. He enjoys working with his two older brothers and sister in this family run business, and always having the opportunity to learn new and exciting things. He often says that being able to build beautiful custom homes is definitely a dream come true. Ryan’s passions outside of construction are; being outdoors, football, snowmobiling, basketball, and spending time with his wife and 4 children. He also enjoys coaching his oldest two children’s basketball and football teams.

Project Supervisor- Ryan Harris

Ryan is an Idaho transplant after growing up in Northern California. He attended college in Utah receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Utah Valley State College. After college he went and worked for a production builder in Phoenix Arizona. During this time Ryan learned much about the industry and how to streamline the building process and keep multiple projects going on at the same time. Ryan grew up enjoying the home building process and developing a passion for this industry at a young age, always wanting to build high end custom homes. During college he worked many construction jobs getting a firsthand understanding of the industry. Ryan came to work for B&B Builders in the summer of 2005 and has enjoyed it ever since. He gets much satisfaction from working with the client and helping them achieve their dream and making the project just the way they envisioned it. Ryan has done much drafting over the years and will work with many of our clients on projects getting their ideas turned into a full set of construction drawings that can be implemented in the field. A father of 2 young boys he looks forward to teaching them and helping them develop their skills with both he and his wife. While not working Ryan enjoys photography, wakeboarding, snowboarding and riding his dirt bike.

Project Supervisor -Shawn Ferguson

Shawn has been with B & B Builders since 1998 starting as a carpenter and worked his way to the position of project supervisor. Before starting with B & B Shawn graduated from Utah State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. During school he worked in the construction business in both framing and in plumbing. Shawn has worked on many aspect of the building process anywhere from framing, plumbing, siding, to roofing. Having been associated with the owners of the company as well as some of the employee’s for over 20 years he can say that not only are they associates but they are friends. Shawn believes that he has been blessed to be associated with them and a company that has the same values and integrity that is similar to those that he strives for. He believes that this is visible in not only the way they do business but in the product that B&B produces.

Project Supervisor -Dustin Young

Dustin has been in the Construction Industry for 22 years. The first couple being part time to earn extra money while at Central Wyoming Community College. Later he stayed in the industry learning to do the work himself, running crews & jobs. He appreciates the fact that he had to learn the industry Commercial or Residential by hands on training. The college (Arts & Science education) helps him with the project management side of the building process. Dustin met members of B&B Builders 7 years ago on a commercial job they were all working on. He kept in touch through work & seeing them out in the community where he watched B&B Builders build some magnificent projects. Dustin feels fortunate to have been able to join B&B Builders team in June of 2005. Since then he has had the opportunity to help create some fantastic custom projects. Dustin gets great gratitude by seeing a bare piece of ground turn into an amazing office, vacation home, or personal home. The look on a happy customers face is priceless. Dustin appreciates being able to work with a company that keeps honesty & integrity in the business.

Office Manager- Heather Hansen

Heather is a mom who enjoys spending time with her boys and husband. She also enjoys hiking, bicycling and the outdoors. You can often find her volunteering at various organizations. She is happy to spend some of her time this way. She has 12 years experience as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper. Organization and dependability are her top priorities
